Workaround: enable viewing of Navigation Toolbar prior to selecting the Edit|Preferences applet. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Customise toolbars so that Navigation Toolbar is empty 2.Turn off viewing for Navigation Toolbar 3.Select Edit|Preferences Actual Results: Browser hangs and has to be closed via Task Manager Expected Results: Displayed the Preferences applet
