User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:94.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/94.0
Steps to reproduce:
I try to open a message in conversation view. There are messages with the replied/ answered symbol where the entry for conversation view in the context menu is missing and there are messages without any visible sign, that they belong to a conversation, where you can open the conversation view.
Actual results:
When I can open the conversation view, it displays messages that have nothing to do with the original mail. The problem started in Version 91 - I'm not sure if it still worked in 91.2, but since 91.3 it is definitely broken on my machine.
Expected results:
Conversation view should display all messages which belong to the in-reply-to message. I tried to repair all the .msf files, even deleted them and let them recreate - but the conversation seems to be held somewhere else. Couldn't find a repair/ recreate conversation entry anywhere...

Are you talking about the Conversations add-on?
Tried Help | Troubleshoot mode?
Hi Magnus,
no, I'm talking about the native conversation view. I'm using the german version, where it's called "in Themenbaum anzeigen".
The behaviour doesn't change in Troubleshoot mode.
Thanks a lot for your help!
Andreas
Hi Magnus,
in the meantime, I updated to 91.4.0 (64 bit). I'm still suffering (occasionally) from sluggish responses, but in terms of conversation view, I got one step further: When I checked about disk space within my profile (a total of 16 GB, 15 of which are spread over the local Mail folders), I realised that global-messages-db.sqlite was almost 1 GB in size. Closed Thunderbird, moved the file, started thunderbird and it looks better: I haven't got the entire conversation back yet (sometimes I still see the replied-symbol but no conversation at all, although I already repaired the inbox and the sent folder), but when I get the conversation view, it displays the right stuff. Was it just coincidence? global-messages is now about 70 MB...
Regards,
Andreas

Reporter, do you still see this issue when using version 102?
Hi Wayne,
I'm now on 102.3.1 and it looks like the issue is gone - thanks a lot once again to all you folks!
