Steps to reproduce:

1. Set email list order by oldest first. (As in screnshot - date ^).
2. The newest email comes at the end - low in screen (expected behavior).
3. Now every startup the app shows me oldest email at top - which is not the requirement , I read from below --- the old Mac email program order and this used to work till thunderbird v. 78 etc. but now it's broken.
   Error / Issue
4. Instead of starting up with pane where the newest mail is visible... the app starts with showing oldest mail (first email received) and doesn't show new email. and I have to scroll down the list to read the newest email.
   Problem seems to be that Thunderbird used to remember the pane layout and startup with showing the newest mail at end of screen - now it doesn't.
