Steps to reproduce:

  1. Launch Add-on Converter for SeaMonkey page
    Chose a compatible (green) Ad-on ( no matter which)
    Or insert yourself a legitimate path, as an example, use https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/plain-text-linker/
    or the path to a file on HD, say, "plain_text_linker-2.5.2-fx.xpi"
  2. Try to convert an Add-on

Actual results:

Got a responce:
Either
—"Couldn't find download link container on remote AMO page"
or
—"install.rdf not found in installer"

Expected results:

Expected it works

Problems with the add-on converter need to be reported to the author. We can not help here unless the author or someones else finds a possible defect in our code. As far as i know all amo extensions are now of the web extension type not yet suppored.
