Note: When I attempted to submit this report, I was told I need to choose a component, but English was not among the listed Mozilla Localizations (I chose Bosnian). Maybe that means that the default build is not a localization, but then it shouldn't be required. Whatever the case, a more intuitive interface would be nice, but that's not what I'm writing about ... I originally installed Mozilla (v. 1.01) to my G: drive with no problems. I later removed the hard drive from my computer containing the G: partition, and attempted to install Mozilla to a different drive (G: no longer exists). At the place in the installation where you choose the install location, the previous installation directory on G: was shown. When I clicked Browse, the installation locked up. I closed and repeated this twice. I was able to work around the problem by removing the Mozilla registry entries under SOFTWARE in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER and HEKY_LOCAL_MACHINE branches (I didn't check to see which one makes the difference). Mozilla Build: 2002082606
I'm closing this as invalid because it hasn't been confirmed, the reporter has already long ago worked around the problem, and I can't reproduce the problem. If anybody is still experiencing this issue, please comment, and I'll reopen this bug.
