A few clarifying questions:

  • What input method are you using to scroll (e.g. touchpad, mouse wheel, something else)?
  • Is this an issue of response time (time between you performing the input and the page moving), distance scrolled, or something else?
  • Do you see this on all sites or just specific sites?
  • If you've been using Firefox for a while (i.e. since before the current version), has this always been an issue for you or is it a regression in a recent version?

Hi!

  1. I use a mouse wheel to scroll.
  2. I'm not sure if you see it on the recording, but every time I start to scroll a page I just opened, it takes a while to response.
  3. All sites.
  4. Didn't pay attention to this.

Out of curiosity, did you figure out what the problem was?

Out of curiosity, did you figure out what the problem was?

I was using Throttlestop with a bad configuration, and it was slowing down my laptop.
