Steps to reproduce

1. Open a Firefox with a clean profile.

2. Go to Google Maps and grant Firefox permission to access your location.

3. Select the "Remember this decision" option and click on "Allow".

4. In the "Permissions" section from about:preferences, click on the Location's "Settings..." button.

5. Click on the "Remove All Websites" and then save changes.

6. Go again to Google Maps.

Expected result

• The notification for allowing the access to your location is displayed again.

Actual result

• The notification for allowing the access to your location is not displayed again.

• I will look for a regression as soon as posible.

Additional notes

• Works as expected for https://www.bing.com/maps.

I don't think this is a regression. I went back to 01-06-2017 (55.0a1) when the Location Settings button was not yet added to the Permission section.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open a Firefox with a clean profile.

2. Go to Google Maps and grant Firefox permission to access your location.

I don't get asked. This only happens if I click the locator dot on the bottom right in google maps.

If I then follow the rest of the steps, the second time I open gmap and click the locator dot, I get a little popup (see screenshot attached) saying the location is from my device. If I then click "Update", it will re-prompt for actual location access.

So I think this is a gmaps issue, not a Firefox issue. We can't prompt the user if the website doesn't tell us to prompt.
