When the diskspace is low and I download mails the contents is deleted and I see
empty mails. The same problem happens if i download news.
For a pop account it is very awful because mail are realy deleted !!!
That must be corrected !!!!

Empty mails/news are displayed and the popmails are deleted

Expected Results:  
If the diskspace is low a message should be displayed.

This should be modified to make it clear that it is not a duplicate of 161094.

Perhaps this should be changed to be an RFE (additional warning)? If not, surely
it's a dupe of 161094 (mail gets deleted when no free space)?

something like this was supposedly fixed for linux in july 2002 - bug 155281 comment 28
