Steps to reproduce:
Just opened firefox in mac os monterey
Actual results:
in significant energy consuming apps under battery preferences, firefox shows up
Expected results:
firefox should not have consumed so much battery. It leads to less usage over charge period.

Does the problem still happen if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? (Safe Mode disables add-ons, extensions and themes, hardware acceleration and some JavaScript stuff in order to exclude some possible reasons for problems.)
