Steps to reproduce:
Using Aladdin USB Etoken on Windows through etpkcs11.dll. Certificate is configured in the account. Compose email.
Actual results:
When I try to sign an email, password prompt shows but, after entering password, It throws an error about the certificate (not found) and the email is not signed nor sent. The ONLY way I find to get it to work is:
- Open Thunderbird
- Go to account settings
- Open certificate list
- It will prompt for Etoken password, enter it
- From now you can sign any email (without further password prompt)
I thought the workaround was to enter the Etoken password once and try to send again, no matter wherever, compose window or account settings, but It only works from account settings.
Expected results:
Sign the email without errors.
