User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) Build Identifier: Mozilla 1.1 This page loads a customized video graphical user interface. The image and the buttons do not load. The page is also supposed to be split in half to show the home page of my company in the bottom half. Instead, it loads two separate pages. This application/URL works fine in IE 5.5 and Netscape 4.7 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
This is not likeely to be a bug in the LiveConnect shell. Reassigning to Browser-General until we can get further informataion. Ray: 1. What build ID of Mozilla are you using? Please include that in any bug report; thanks - 2. Are you getting any errors in Tools > Web Development > JavaScript Console? (be sure to clear it of any previous errors first) 3. What media player are you using in Mozilla to try to play the broadcast? What player are you using in NN4.7? 4. What plug-ins do you currently have in Mozilla? (Help > About Plugins)

Analysis follows: 1: The listed URL for this bug is a 302 redirect to http://webevents.broadcast.com/wsp/index.asp?nEventID=3322&loc=&ru= 2: The redirected page uses window.open() to load http://webevents.broadcast.com/wsp/build_06/english/skin_corporate01/preload.asp?default_clip_id=&channel_id=&restrict_channels=&loc=&bookmark=&nEventID=3322&ppv_id= (Note that on my first two tries, Mozilla's popup blocker silently prevented step two and left me staring at a blank page except for a Yahoo logo.) 3: The new window preloads a dozen-ish images then loads http://webevents.broadcast.com/wsp/build_06/english/frameset.asp?nEventID=3322 4: Finally, this frameset loads gazillion .js files and the two frames http://webevents.broadcast.com/wsp/build_06/english/skin_corporate01/interface.asp and http://www.national.com The top "interface" frame is the trouble spot. For starters, it calls scripts that were loaded in the parent window from step 1. Since I opened the URL manually instead, it had no parent and the calls failed. There are so many different script files involved, I would need a good hourly consulting fee in order to figure out what's going wrong. YMMV.

Version: Trunk → unspecified
On initial load, this site WORKSFORME using Mozilla trunk build 2003021808 on WinNT. I didn't register for the site when prompted. I am not seeing any of the problems originally reported above: > The image and the buttons do not load. The page is also supposed > to be split in half to show the home page of my company in the > bottom half. Instead, it loads two separate pages. However, I AM seeing a bug when I mouseover the buttons at the top once the page has loaded. Instead of the rollover effect I get in IE6, the buttons simply disappeared (i.e. turned into empty image boxes). That is, for some reason their "rollover" images are not loading. At no time do I see any errors in the JavaScript Console -
