Bug 1717627 disabled JSON Viewer tests in Linux WebRender.
I re-enabled them in bug 1720898, except for browser_jsonview_save_json.js which was still failing because of bug 1478596.
The test can be changed to avoid using context menus, then we can re-enable it.

Avoids using context menu, affected by bug 1478596, so that the test can be
re-enabled in Linux WebRender.
Adds try..catch as an attempt to investigate timeouts like bug 1650268.
Adds some extra checks, and some refactorings.
