Details
Steps to reproduce:
- Created a New Task
- set start date 01/10/2022
- set due date 08/10/2022
- Start date changes to due date month
Actual results:
- Selected a Start date and Due Date.
- items are linked
- unlinked the item to allow different dates entered
- enter start date of 01/12/2022
- enter end date of 08/12/2022
result: start date changes to 08/12/2022 (linked or unlinked)
Expected results:
- enter a Start Date
- I click the unlink icon
- Enter any due date
- start date reflects start date
- due date reflects due date
1/ I return back to the calendar which has the created event
- modify due date to August as I intended
- system updates fine and now the calendar repeats the task until that date

Hey! I apologize for it being 9 months now... so ok, I updated to the latest version, 102.3.1 (32bit).... lets go through the steps again....
1/ File > New > Task
2/ New Task: (pops up)
3/ enter title, Temp1234
4/ Check Box on Start Date : 10/2/2022 @ 2:00am
5/ Check Box on Due Date
6/ Due Date : Change Time to : 6:00am
.:. Start date switches back to 6:00am rather than holding/remembering 2:00am.....
.:. I switch Start date time back to 2:00am... due date switches to 2:00am....
--- this is using the "linked function" or "Keep the duration when changing the end date"
--- When I unlink the chain, ok, it remembers 2:00am start, 6:00am finish...
--- perhaps the question then is there a point to the chain link?
If I can do further investigation, please let me know and I will gladly do some troubleshooting...
