Steps to reproduce:
I do anything, for example answer an e-mail when suddenly Thunderbird does not respond. After 1-2 seconds it works again. I have experienced this since I upgraded to TB v91 from v78.
Actual results:
I did a performance recording and it shows that the "Apply style changes" causes this problem.

Reporter, do you still see this issue when using version 102?

Unfortunately yes. I have reinstalled TB 102 since then, but the problem remains.
