Steps to reproduce:
I run thunderbird 98.0a1 (2022-01-16) (64-bit) on a patched-to-current 16Jan22 stable Debian distribution:
Linux mach 5.10.0-10-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 5.10.84-1 (2021-12-08) x86_64 GNU/Linux
$HOME/thunderbird_nightly/thunderbird -P "$myProfile"
Actual results:
Thunderbird checks but doesn't find or download new POP3 email.

Expected results:
Thunderbird should have downloaded new email.
Sorry, I should have explained that the text after Steps to reproduce: section above shows the Debug console output, my concern is the TypeError which couldn't fetch a resource.
This was working until I downloaded Daily's 14Jan22 version.

I have no problem getting my POP3 email using the most recent Daily 98.0a1 build 2022011702031 on Fedora 35 or Windows 10.
I would try Troubleshoot Mode and if that didn't help, create a test profile with just that account.
No, it cleared up after a few weeks.

I'd like to close this.
The options presented to me for closing this are INVALID & DUPLICATE.
As far as I know, it's not a DUPLICATE and it was a real bug at one time.
Is there an option that says that a later version seemed to fix the problem?
