Affected versions:

  • Beta 97.0b4
  • Nightly 98.0a1

Affected platforms:

  • Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS
  • Windows 10 x64
  • macOS 12

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Launch Firefox.
  2. From about:addons enable any of the new Turning Red Colorway theme, except Cheese Puff.
  3. Click on the Open Application Menu.

Expected result:
The icon of the Application Menu is according to the Figma specs. When the icon is clicked, the background color respects the selected theme.

Actual result:
The icon of the Application Menu is not according to the Figma specs. When the icon is clicked, the background color is gray.

Regression range:
Not a regression.

Additional notes
This applies to all the new Red Turning Colorway themes, except Cheese Puff.

Has STR: --- → yes

The hover color is based on the icon color. We may want to reconsider this more broadly, but it's not something I intend to change just for this campaign.
