This shows recipient as a Kathy Barany, yet the message went to a Deborah Gardner.
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:96.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/96.0
Steps to reproduce:
Sent email to person A. Then sent email to person B.
My account is IMAP.
Actual results:
Message list view shows name of person A as recipient, although message was actually sent to person B. Content windows shows correct recipient and a repair of folder corrects the issue. This occurs at least several times a day, and has been a bug for years. The error happens in 91.5 and in 97
Expected results:
Message list view should show name of actual recipient.

I have also been noticing that maybe twice a month (and just now), at least during the last year - but a Repair Folder never fixed it for me. The error also stays when the mail is copied or moved to another folder.
I am on Linux Mint, with an IMAP account connected to Groupwise, currently using using 91.5.0.

A second Thunderbird connected to the same IMAP server displays the mail correctly, so it's some local problem.

My workaround was to shutdown Thunderbird, then delete the folder's .msf file.
I was tormented by this bug for several years, but I admit that I have not seen it since installing 102. I used to repair sent folder almost daily, but now I cannot remember when I needed to do it. So, I guess the bug doesn't exist anymore. I sincerely appreciate this having been investigated. Thank you.
Update: Today, I sent two messages, each to a different person. When reviewing Sent folder, it shows the latest message was sent to both recipients, but it was not. This happened in Daily, 109.0a1.
