Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Firefox.
  2. Navigate Office Live - Excel and create a new table with some merged rows and other customized content.
  3. Copy that table.
  4. Navigate to Office Live - Document and create a new document.
  5. Paste the table from excel.
  6. Click on the right side of the table or inside it.

Expected result

  • Text input is moved to the click position without anything else happening.

Actual result

  • Table expands with each click.

Regression range

  • Will come back with a regression range ASAP.

Additional notes

  • Please see the attachment for more details.
  • Refreshing the page brings the table back to its initial size.
  • There are no errors thrown in the console.
  • The issue occurs with tables copied over from g-docs as well if they contain merged rows.
  • Issue can also be reproduced on this test document.

Yes, the issue still occurs in the latest Fx103.0a1 build in Windows 10 Pro exactly as depicted in the original attachment.
