In Mail/News the Print Preview option is not available from the Print icon on
the tool bar.  The print icon is the same as the browser and has the same drop
down triangle, but in mail/news there is only one option (print).  There isn't
much point to a drop down from a tool bar icon if you only have one choice. 
Clicking on the print icon gives you the same result.

Print preview can be accessed using the "File" Menu. (File - Print Preview) 
Print preview works fine when accessed from the menu; it is just not connected
to the drop down menu for the print icon on the tool bar.

It make no difference if the mail is opened up into a full window or viewed in
the three pane view.  It also makes no difference if the mail is a text message
or a HTML message.

On the Mac I did notice that the drop down menu in Mail/News has two options
(Print and Page Setup) but not print preview.  The Mac like the Windows version
does have print preview in the browser.

This bug is in (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021016)

The issue isn't whether Print Preview is available in MailNews. The issue is
whether Print Preview is available *through the printer icon in the toolbar* in
MailNews.

The printer icon on my build of 1.4 has a little (drop down list) triangle.  If
I click on the triangle I can choose Print or Print Preview.  This works the
same for me in the browser and mail client.  I am using the modern Theme and
have not tested using Classic.

Print Preview from the print Icon in the mail client also works on Win98 with
Mozilla 1.5a Build(2003071814)

Steve, my guess from your comment is that this is not working for you.  What
build and platform are you using?
