1753480 - Between V92 and 96 Missing Minimize/Window/Close on the Title Bar missing

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:95.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/95.0

Steps to reproduce:

If on V92 the window control ribbon is present at startup then disappears, when on V95 and above it is never there.
In V92 it literally shows up and disappears at will, when it's missing you can still click where you think the minimize box is and it'll work - < V95 you can not do that.

This is present only on the machine I have with a nVidia card with the last released drivers, the other two machine with Intel and ATI card are fine.

Actual results:

The Window Control is missing in V95 and above.

Expected results:

The ribbon on the title bar should always be present.

Hi billy
by ribbon control you mean top right corner? Minimize, Restore and Close buttons?
Can you post a screenshot of the problematic area to the bug?

I can see those buttons in the latest firefox release version 96.0.3 on windows 10

I reproduced on Firefox 97.0.1, disappear can be generated due non-default Firefox theme with combo enabled Aero on Windows 7.

To reproduce fog possible use Google Business Card at searches results and open wrote opinions - main window immediately have strange fog on button and with non-default themes completely disappear.

I don't tested this with Firefox 98 and 99 but Thunderbird 91.6.1 have same bugs and his gone in TB98&TB99 on Windows 7.

On my side doesn't help use troubleshooting (safe mode) / fresh profile (both have glitches on Firefox 100) for now doesn't tested in Nightly 102 to mark issue as fixed (without concentrate at this issue purposely / consciously).

I don't use these software. So we wait for info by Billy Mays (if Mozilla have long time support Windows 7).
