Steps to reproduce:

97.0b3 (64-bit)

I have Thunderbird setup to Archive to my Gmail/All Mail folder. This works fine if I double click to open the message and click the Archive button. However, if I use the keyboard in the message view by pressing A, or if I right click the message in the message view and select the Archive option from the menu, Thunderbird disregards my setting. Instead of sending the mail to the Gmail/All Mail folder, it reverts to creating an Archives IMAP label and puts the message there.

All ways of archiving a message should respect the setting that specifies what the archive action should do.

Actual results:

Archiving a message via A or right click produces different behavior to clicking the archive button after opening the message.

Expected results:

All ways of archiving a message should respect the setting.

Using 108.0b1

This seems to be ok now. WFM. I tried pressing Shift+A to trigger an Archive action but it didn't work. Only pressing lower-case a triggers an Archive action. Additionally, right-clicking a message and choosing Archive or opening a message in a separate window and clicking the Archive button (or pressing a) does what it's supposed to do. All manner of Archive action leads to the message being moved to the All Mail folder. A later ctrl-z action reverts the archived message back to the folder from whence it came from.
