Arthur, sorry there has been no reply.
Does the problem still reproduce in version 128?

Summary: Search fails with unusual email domain → quick filter fails with unusual email domain
Whiteboard: [closeme 2024-12-22]

I'm running v 115.16 on the esr update channel and it reproduces there.
The email user has this contact info:
Name: David Spiro
Email: david@spi.ro

I suspect that the search fails because it uses his Email and not his Name.
