Currently we have:

  • Primary Password protecting logins
  • OS authentication protecting some of the logins functionality (copy button in about:logins for example)
  • OS authentication protecting credit card access

All of that is not consistent and straightforward. We should create a new <insert catchy name> module that will be used by logins, credit cards, addresses and will be responsible for preventing unauthorized access by asking Primary Password and/or OS authentication when appropriate.
