The selected and focused state of a message row was never a problem since the focus indicator was a barely noticeable dotted outline.
Now that it's 2px and it uses the currentColor, it looks out of place when a message is colored by an applied tag.
We should force the outline color of tagged messages to use a darker variation of the current background color.
Maybe regressed by bug 1747715, but I'm not sure.
