Details
The Show Toolbar menu does not set the focus, blinking cursor, in the Location
Field. The best solution would be to select all the location field contents.
It's easier to use. New, just type immediately. Extend, just hit Down Arrow key
and add your additional text.
I think it will more correspond to the user intention, if you show it, it's
probably to change the url, all other actions can be done without it (I know
Cmd-L also).
Stephane, what build ID are you reporting this bug against?
Summary: RFE Show Toolbar should select Location field contents → Show Toolbar should select Location field contents
Stephane, what if the user was in the middle of typing something somewhere on
the page? Shouldn't we leave focus where it is? I think so.

Yes but you are not responsible of dumb users... just kidding. Yes I've thought
to that but it's a few percentage compared to those who want to reach the
Location field. I think we can compare that to a new window command in any
program, they ask for it, so they should receive it in the better state.
