Opening a link to a page that has no title in a new tab shows an incorrect title in the tab

Details

  1. Go to Google and search for "linux md time to add disk to raid6"
  2. The first result is a page on www.ewams.net, middle click on it.
  3. The page opens in a new tab but I see "google.com/url?......" as the tab title. This is the url to the link clicked which presumably redirects to the actual site.

The page itself has no title (it contains an empty title tag) so the tab title should be "ewams.net/..." and that is indeed what you get when normal clicking on the link.

Reloading the page does not correct the issue, we continue to show the incorrect title.
