Attempting to use a touchscreen to drag a download item on the download button drop-down causes Firefox to crash

Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64; rv:96.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/96.0
Steps to reproduce:
On my laptop's touchscreen, I tapped the download button on the toolbar, which opened the downloads drop down like it should have. I then, using the touchscreen, attempted to drag an item in the download list. Firefox then immediately crashed.
I am using Firefox 96.0.3 on Fedora 35 with Gnome 41.3 on Wayland.
Actual results:
When attempting to drag an item in the download button drop-down with the touchscreen, Firefox crashes. This only happens when using the touchscreen. Using the mouse works fine. When restarting Firefox from the crash reported that pops up, a private browsing window opens instead of a normal window.
Expected results:
Firefox should not crash when doing this. It should behave the same way as when using the mouse (which works fine).

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.
