User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:97.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/97.0
Steps to reproduce:
Page invoking paypal login from eBay page hangs on Firefox 97. On previous versions it worked fine.
I can login directly to paypal on Firefox 97, but interfaces with shopping pages like eBay do not work for me. Spawned pages hang and need to be closed.
I had to resort to use other browsers to make payments on eBay.
Tom
Actual results:
Page invoking paypal login from eBay page hangs on Firefox 97. On previous versions it worked fine.
Expected results:
Paypal login page should not hang when invoked from EBay or other shopping sites.
On some shopping pages logging to Paypal in a separate tab first - allows spawned paypal login window to work without hanging.

can you run https://mozilla.github.io/mozregression/
It should help us figure out which change broke this behavior.
Thank you.
The bug is reproducible on Windows 10, I saw it on 2 computers and 2 shopping sites: eBay and Australia Post.
I prefer to avoid running software that I do not know anything about, especially when I found a workaround.
When I login to paypal FIRST (in another tab) before requesting eBay to initiate paypal payment, everything works.
The spawned paypal login window emerges logged in already - no need to login again.
Maybe this is good for the safety of paypal transactions when I login to paypal using its own login page instead of some improvised popup.

I tried it myself, and couldn't reproduce the issue.
@Tom, can you take a look at our necko bug reporting guidelines?
First of all, it's not clear what is happening. Could you make a video of your screen? Feel free to use a new dummy paypal/ebay account.
If possible, open the devtools console to see if any errors are happening.
Make sure to disable addons when reproducing, as they can interfere with web pages. Thanks!
