Under Mandrake 9.0 release, Mozilla 1.1 crashes as soon as I hit "compose" or ctl-M. Mozilla instantly disappears from my screen without a trace.
Are you sure that you use a mozilla.org build ? (a bug report from a mandrake build is invalid) Have you also tried a new profile ?
