Steps to reproduce:

Sorry, I cannot really say how to reproduce the crashes. For now they appear to be "random". They happen when reading a website without specific interaction. It's no website in particular causing the crash.

I'm not familiar with reading the crash reports. A few weeks ago I manually removed items from places.sqlite. Could that have something to do with it?

Actual results:

Firefox freezes. Not just the website but also the browser elements (I cannot switch tabs or open the menu).

Can you test the issue while in Safe Mode? You can find helpful info here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode .

If possible, you can test this issue on the nightly build as well. Download the build from : https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/nightly/all/ .
