1757101 - Latest Beta 98.0b2 is Very Slow, Problems Loading pages, Lots of Crashing . . .

Steps to reproduce:

Tried to use it.

Actual results:

Severely slow reactions, lock ups and crashes. And Bugzilla won't load from local link. Had to cut and paste from a Firefox page.

Expected results:

Pages load quickly, no freezes, no locking up, no crashing.

If you have been on beta for several weeks and this is a recent regression, then it is likely you are seeing something like Bug 1754055 - Thunderbird 98.0a1 (2022-02-07) and 98.0b1/b2 Crash in [@ js::RunScript ] or [@ PromiseReactionJob ] after closing/shutdown

It started after moving to the Beta Channel. The 90.0b2 it got really bad. When trying to load an eMail it stalls then I get the Beachball of Death and have to Force Quit to get out.

I was persuaded to migrate due to another problem. Otherwise, I'd not be bothering you, because I wouldn't have gone Beta.

99.0b2 is way worse. Completely unusable if not in "Trouble Shooting Mode" and not all that good even then.

If it works in troubleshoot mode then it may be a match to my bug 1749276, which is making some progress.

FWIW, several major bugs are recently getting fixed on beta
