reporter: try a more recent build and see if problems persist
Ok, on Win2k sp2 running acrobat 5.0, selecting "access control" pdf worked just fine. Acrobat opened up within the Phoenix browser Using browser nightly from the morning of Oct 21, 2002. So one question I have is, do you have Acrobat Reader installed? Maybe there's another app specified to handle pdf files? Also how much space do you have available on your disk? In %TEMP%?

VERIFIED Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030721 Mozilla Firebird/0.6 If you are using Adobe Reader 6.0, it takes longer to start than previous version and gives the illusion of a lockup.
