Steps to reproduce:
Start Mozilla VPN and see message "Update Required. We detected and fixed a serious bug. You must update your app."
I click on the Update now button and the update begins. I click yest to the UAC messagebox and installation starts.
Actual results:
The installation message box disappears before the progress control shows completion.
After wating for a minute I manually start Mozilla VPN and see the same Update Required message.
Expected results:
The update should have completed.

This has been fixed in the latest 2.9
