Details

Using my Internet Banking system, I have downloaded a security certificate (512, 1024, 2048). Although they install correctly on my Browser (Mozilla 1.1, 1.2beta) I cannot log in to my bank as it reports certificate failure. This means i cannot use my bank at all.

Does neither 1.1 nor 1.2beta work? If 1.1 works, but not 1.2 beta you are probably seeing bug 173939. If neither work, make sure you have insalled both certificates, there should be one for Skandiabanken and one private one.

I *can't* try a different profile as the profile is personal and linked to my national insurance number...
A profile is something you make in mozilla, it has nothing to do with your ID atskandiabanken. To create a new profile quit mozilla and use the Profile Manager (which should be in the same folder as your Mozilla program file). Start Mozilla with this new profile, go to skandiabanken, download new certificates and try to log in.

Trine, bug 173939 has been fixed. Could you please download the latest nightly (available from ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest ) and see if it works for you, if necessary with a new profile (see comment 8)?
