Steps to reproduce:

I do not know, it just does not work sometime.

Actual results:

Middle-clicking in a tab does not close it.

Expected results:

It should have closed the tab.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Tabbed Browser' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

I was unable to reproduce the issue, I've tried on multiple PCs.

Are you sure its not a hardware issue?
Can you perhaps try to reproduce the issue using another mouse?

If it does occur even using a different mouse, can you please create a new profile and check again?
