Arghh, darn it, Linux I mean. Sorry, it's late.
Build 2002101612, Windows 98 I cannot download *anything* now. Just stopped working last night. Steps to reproduce: 1) select tools menu 2) select download manager 3) download manager does not open 1) right click on a link 2) select save target link as 3) save as dialog comes up 4) go to where you want to save link and click ok 5) although progress dialog or download manager maybe selected to open within preferences, neither opens 6) nothing is downloaded 7) sometimes a dialog box saying something about a temp file appears Repeat any of the zillions of ways to download a file - all have similar result: Nothing is downloaded. Workaround: delete prefs.js and localstore.roff

You should know (if you can file new bugs) that you should install in a complete (!) empty directory if you have problems. And of course you should search before you file bug. (this one is very easy to find) This bug is useless and wastes our time. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 171441 ***
