- Mac OSX 11.6 and Ubuntu 21.04 are not affected
Affected versions
- Firefox 98RC
- latest Nightly 99.0a1
Affected platforms
- Win 10, 64-bit
Steps to reproduce
- Turn ON High Contrast Mode
- Open https://www.w3.org/2010/05/video/mediaevents.html in Firefox and play the video
- Check the video progress bar
- Use the volume bar
Expected result
- Progress bars can be differentiated in HCM
Actual result
- The progress bars (video and sound) cannot be distinguished while in high contrast
Regression range
- Reproduced also on Firefox 77, so not a regression

The severity field for this bug is set to S4. However, the accessibility severity is higher, [access-s2].

The patch landed in nightly and beta is affected.
:jaws, is this bug important enough to require an uplift?

I managed to reproduce this issue on Firefox 98.0(20220304153049) on Win10 64-bits using HC Black. Verified as fixed on Firefox 100.0(20220425210429) and Nightly 101.0a1(20220425213655) on Win10 64-bits.
