User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021021 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021021 In the nightly builds of at least the last 10 days I have a problem where some sites cause Mozilla to close when they are reloaded. It happens to me most of the time with my.yahoo.com, which is my home page. It doesn't happen every time... maybe once in 10 reloads. This is closing all open windows, including download windows. When I'm in quicklaunch mode, the icon disppears and I have to restart completely. Is there a way to record what mozilla is doing while this happens? No talkback is generated, and dr. watson appears when this happens. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Log on to my.yahoo.com with a username/password (check the option to remember who you are). 2. Set the site as your homepage. 3. While browsing, jump to your homepage once in a while. Sometimes it will crash.

I've never seen this, but then, I don't use my.yahoo.com. Could this be related to Bug #32571 ?
Maybe it does, but I wonder why would a web page call window.close() while it's loading. Is there any logging option I can use to trap the javascript which is executed?
This is reproduced easily in the following web site: http://www.luerzersarchive.com/home.htm To reproduce: Just click on the Search button on the bottom of the page. I tested this page with IE6 as well. In IE the current screen gets closed, and also any other screen spawned from the current one using Ctrl+N. However, separate IE sessions which were opened from the desktop icon are not affected. While this proves that the page is defective, in Mozilla the problem is critical, because along with the current browser screen, Mail/News gets shut down as well. I actually lost an email I was writing while browsing this site.
