RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1749998

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:98.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/98.0

Steps to reproduce:

Download many images from one or several webpages by right-clicking on the images.

Actual results:

Everytime an image is downloaded, the download panel pops up and obscures the webpage.

Expected results:

The download panel should remain closed, as it was in Firefox before 98. I never used it. If I want to see, what I have downloaded, I open a filemanager-application and navigate to my download-directory. I don't want to see, what I have just downloaded or some seconds ago or over the last hours, each time I start a new download. If a download has startet or is complete, it is sufficient to show this by slightly changing the download-icon in the toolbar. At least, please make the repeated appearance of the download panel optional.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Downloads Panel' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
