This seems to run pretty often.
I have about 1000 open tabs but most of them are probably not loaded (I'm not sure how to check that)

Yeah, there's FX_SESSION_RESTORE_WRITE_FILE_MS.

Plus somewhat bug 506975 as far as frequency is concerned
