1759508 - Can't type in URL bar when opening 3 or more tabs

Steps to reproduce:

I often open multiple tabs quickly and have 5 or so websites load at once.
Now when I type in latimes.com in one tab, nytimes.com in another tab, and try and type in a new third tab, the URL bar is unresponsive. Sometimes it takes more tabs for it to occur but happens with as little as 3.

Actual results:

When I type in the URL bar, nothing happens. The cursor just blinks. Happens on Firefox 98 in MacOS Big Sur and Monterey (two computers).

Expected results:

The URL bar should allow me to type in a URL.

I couldn't reproduce this issue on my end.
Could you please try if the issue occurs in safe mode. Here is a link that can help you do that:

I've attached a video of it happening in troubleshooting mode. I can reproduce in private mode as well. It takes longer in troubleshooting mode but at the end of the video, the tab is unresponsive and I can't type into it.
