We've got a report in https://github.com/webcompat/web-bugs/issues/100911 where during scrolling slowness is observed when animating slides.
To reproduce: visit https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2022/03/11/briefing/the-weekender.html in Firefox for Android Nightly.
The problem is not reproducible when setting layout.animation.prerender.partial to false.
