Steps to reproduce:

1 - Open Thunderbird
2 - Look at Status Bar
3 - Status Bar does not indicate the initial Get Message status, continually displays 'Done'.
4 - Attempt to confirm if the Get Message process occurs by manually pressing 'Get Message' button.
5 - Status Bar does not indicate the checking of message servers, continually displays 'Done'.

Actual results:

Messages were downloaded by the initial startup automatic checking of message servers. These new messages could be seen in the message pane. Yet the Status Bar did not indicate any activity or results, only a continuous 'Done'.

Expected results:

Status Bar should have indicated both initial startup automatic checking of message servers, and should also have indicated the manual checking of message servers from pressing the 'Get Message' button.
