User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021016 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021016 ever since mozilla 1.1 and later a feature seems to have been lost. If I am browsing the web and happen to click on a link in an email or on another page instead of it opening in a seperate window it opens in the smae window which is most annoying while I am chatting on line for the simple fact that it will disconect my chat session. It is a draw back keeping me from using mozilla as my primary browser. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open a mozilla window 2. view someones profile on yahoo or click on a link that is not iside ur current window 3. Actual Results: the current open browser opens what ever link is clicked on Expected Results: opend the link in a new window.
Have you tried holding Ctrl while (and a little afterwards) clicking on the link?
This was done on purpose, iirc.

->WONTFIX As per Boris' comments. As a workaround, you can hold down ctrl.
