Using the unsubscribe link in a Daily Digest email sent by Mozilla Connect causes an exception

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:98.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/98.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Register an account for connect.mozilla.org
  2. Post something and recieve Kudos for it
  3. You will recieve a "Daily Digest" email.
  4. Click the "Unsubscribe" link in the footer of the email

Actual results:

An error message is shown:

An Unexpected Error has occurred.

Your request failed. Please contact your system administrator and provide the date and time you received the error and this Exception ID: 1CEA20FB.

Click your browser's Back button to continue.

Return to my original page

Expected results:

The website should ask for a confirmation and then stop sending further emails to my email adress.

Please update the Component for this bug to connect.mozilla.org. It's been just added to Bugzilla.

@flylix are you still experiencing this issue? I'm not able to reproduce on my end. When clicking unsubscribe, make sure you're logged in. That can often be the reason. Hope this helps!
