User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:98.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/98.0
Steps to reproduce:
Open multi tabs (five or six) and try to close the second one (second tab starting from left to right)
Actual results:
It doesn't close (unless I click many times or move it to another position)
Expected results:
It should be closed

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Tabbed Browser' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

I wasn't able to reproduce this issue on the latest Nightly 100.0a1 and Firefox 98 on Windows 10 x64.
To eliminate custom settings as a possible cause, could please retest this using Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode and with a new profile?
