we do, in fact, copy entire directories. where was the file, latest-trunk/ ? Thinking we just need to nuke the stage dirs previous to the scp.

no, it was in the dated dir, but not in the latest dir.

The only wildcard involved now is the *.xpi, which pulls from the dist directory.
