Steps to reproduce

  1. Open the Accessibility Menu of the OS
  2. Turn on High Contrast
  3. Launch Firefox and go to about:preferences
  4. Scroll down to Website Appearance section
  5. Switch between FF theme, System Theme, Light and Dark

Expected result

  • No changes should be seen on the web appearance UI

Actual result

  • Web appearance settings switch between Light and Dark

Regression range
Not a regression, it's a new feature

Additional notes

  • Please see attached video

On Linux we can honor high contrast and web appearance so we do. This is not a bug. The warning doesn't show up either.
