User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021016 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021016 I found it impossible to save any type of images or web page information after downloading and installing the newest Mozilla Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Attempt to save any image from a webpage or the page itself 2. 3. Actual Results: No information was placed at the specified save location Expected Results: Saved the requested information to the location specified on my HD. I am not sure it is related, but when exiting Mozilla after attempting to save data unsucessfully, Mozilla generates a Windows error message as it is closing. The message is transitory, and I am still attempting to get a good look at it.
Have identified the Windows error.. Mozilla has generated an error in APPCOMPS.DLL . (Rest is standard windows error message)
Is there any error message when you try to save? Does shutting down mozilla, deleting compreg.dat, and restarting mozilla help?
QA Contact: rakeshmishra → trix
deleting compreg.dat removed difficulty in saving. Save data is incorrect inside the download manager, but data is saved correctly.
