regarding flipping images, this might be fixed if and when bug 221824 (make
themes RTL compatible) is fixed. flipped images is a problem throughout the
chrome. my suggestion there is that the theme will have two versions of all
images that are not symetric, and choose the correct version depending on the
direction of the UI.
I probably meant flipping the order of these enties.

this is probably a dupe of bug 140759, no?
